Will the work at Pampelonne Beach affect your restaurant booking?

Bulldozers will move in on Pampelonne Beach after 15 October 2018 for reconfiguration work. We went down to find out what you can expect next season if you are holding an event on Pampelonne Beach.

During the work, restaurants will be set up behind the sand dunes, away from the disruption. We recently took clients to the Club 55, which is always popular with the glitterati. It was packed as usual and the owner Patrice was relaxed and assured us that business will be very much as usual next year.

New concessions were granted in July to the private beach clubs and restaurants along this part of the Saint-Tropez shore. These 23 leases will run from 2019 to 2030. As part of the agreement with the town hall, holders of leases on the beach must completely dismantle their club over the winter months to allow the beach to recover.

Pampelonne has been one of the world’s most glamourous beaches since it featured in the 1956 film And God Created Women , starring Bridget Bardot.

If you would like to hold an event at one of Pampelonne Beach’s venues, give us a call at vca and we can tell you exactly what’s happening and what you can expect.
