Case Study: Airport Transfer

Your problem: It’s your first time in Cannes and you’re flying in to Nice Airport. You’re arriving early in the morning and are not sure how you’ll get to your accommodation.

You asked vca: When I get to Nice Airport, should I get a taxi, a train or what? How long will it take? Do I need to worry about traffic? What if my flight is delayed? How do I find my hotel?

vca’s experts said: The journey varies depending on the time of day. We can organise a driver to meet you at the airport. Simply give us your flight number and accommodation address and we’ll do the rest. We track all flights and we’ll keep an eye on arrival times. This means we don’t charge waiting time if you are delayed into Nice. We’ll send you a text with your driver’s name and mobile number beforehand, and you will be met in Arrivals and taken you to your accommodation.

You said: My flight was a little delayed and I was a bit worried – but my bi-lingual driver was waiting for me in arrivals and helped me with my baggage – it wasn’t far to walk because he was parked in the registered chauffeur slots right outside arrivals. He was smartly suited and his liveried car made me feel as if I was in safe hands. There was mineral water and free wifi on board so I could quickly catch up with my emails. And he drove me right to my hotel. Could I book in for my return journey, please?
